ROLES: Information Specialist, Leader, Program Administrator

REFLECTION: Crafting a newsletter on how the SACS accreditation process affects the Media Center increased my professional knowledge and furthered my familiarity with a new technology tool which will be useful to me as a SLM Information Specialist, Leader, and Program Administrator.

ARTIFACT TWO.  MEDT 6461 Budget Proposal

ROLES: Leader, Program Administrator

REFLECTION: Researching aspects of a SLM budget and crafting one to reach the stars increased my professional knowledge regarding personnel, funding and facilities which will be useful to me as a SLM Leader and Program Administrator.

ARTIFACT THREE.  MEDT 6461 Facilities Floor Plan

ROLES: Program Administrator

REFLECTION: Understanding the general recommendations for designing a SLM by creating a new facilities floor plan for an existing media center has increased my professional knowledge which will be useful to me as a Program Administrator.

ROLES: Leader, Program Administrator

REFLECTION: Putting together this video to present to a principal to advocate for my SLM program enriched my skills as a Leader and Program Administrator.

ARTIFACT FIVE. MEDT 6465 Materials Order

ROLES: Instructional Partner, Program Administrator

REFLECTION: Examining a Dewey subset in a library and crafting a materials order to enrich that subset taking into consideration a diverse population of students has increased my professional knowledge in my roles as Instructional Partner and Program Administrator.

ARTIFACT SIX. MEDT 7474 Pathfinder (Severe Weather: I set up the wiki and contributed information labeled with my name in brown text)

ROLES: Information Specialist, Instructional Partner, Teacher

REFLECTION: Working in a group to create a comprehensive Pathfinder on Severe Weather sharpened my research skills and gave me insight into crafting materials for all students. Gains from this project will be useful in my roles as Information Specialist, Instructional Partner and Teacher.
